INTERSECTIONAL FEMINIST.
Alisha (also known as Lish) is a settler-Canadian interdisciplinary researcher, artist and intersectional feminist.
Her research at the Centre for Drama, Theatre and Performance Studies (also known as CDTPS) at the University of Toronto focuses on grassroots performances of intersectionality.
Currently, Alisha is working in collaboration with the Critical Digital Humanities Initiative at the University of Toronto as a Graduate Fellow, where she is constructing a database and resource hub that tracks contemporary findings on gender based violence in Canada.
In addition to her research, Alisha has performed across Canada as both an improvisational artist as well as YA performer, working with brands such as Nickelodeon, Tree House and Spin Master.
Today, Alisha works with the African American Policy Forum, crafting the imagery behind some of AAPF's most impactful campaigns.
